Vestige started its operations in the year 2004, with offices in New Delhi and Bangalore. It deals in world class health and personal care products. "Today, we are present in every nook and corner of the country. We have our presence in more than 5,000 cities and towns in India," says Managing Director Mr Gautam Bali.
Vestige is an Indian Company and, now, has presence in Dubai too. The Company envisions growing its business worldwide. As says Mr Bali, "Vestige
will expand its wings in Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and African continent. We plan to open branches in 20 countries in the next 5 years." Vestige is constantly expanding its product range to introduce innovative products every year.
With over 250 sales outlets pan India, one international office and 2,800 plus service centres, Vestige has built a wide- spread network of distributors, which is constantly expanding every year. "Vestige believes in empowering its members with the opportunity to lead their lives on their own terms.
With the motto of spreading wealth, that is, spreading wealth through well- ness, Vestige has continued to enrich the lives of everyone who is a part of the Company and those who believe in its products," opines Mr Bali, who started his enterprise along with Mr. Kanwar Bir Singh and Mr. Deepak Sood.
Over the past decade, Vestige has developed a large network of strong suppliers worldwide making it possible to offer the best products to meet its customer's needs. In India, Vestige has contributed significantly to women's empowerment (con- tributes nearly 30 percent of total Vestige distributors), skill development, technology percolation and the growth of Small
& Medium Enterprise (SME) Sector. In
the next 10 years, Vestige aims to become India's No. 1 Direct Selling Company. "We want to spread our wings in every corner of the world and serve the needs of customers in all geographical areas. We aim to become extra ordinarily innovative global Company which is involved in the creation, development and manufacturing of world class products," aspires Mr Bali.
However, Mr Bali feels there are tremendous challenges in running a Direct Selling Company in India in the absence of a clear-cut legislation and calls for immediate action from the government in this regard. "Direct Selling Industry, despite its strong commitment towards offering quality products, has faced challenges which have affected business operations in many parts of India. There is a need to revisit existing laws and bring about regulatory clarity to build an environment of trust in order to reap multiple benefits that the industry has to offer," concludes Mr Bali.
