Ms. Aprajita Sarcar is a dynamic business leader with over 28 years of experience across diverse industries. Her core strengths lie in business strategy, innovation, expansion, and stakeholder engagement.
She is currently associated with Modicare, where she leads the Growth Office and drives strategic, high-impact initiatives focused on business growth, organisational development, and long-term value creation.
Her work has also included business process enhancement and culture transformation, reflecting a leadership approach that balances growth with organisational evolution.
Role at IDSA
As Vice Chairperson, Aprajita Sarcar supports the Chairperson in implementing IDSA’s strategic agenda and ensures continuity of leadership across the Association. She works closely with the Chairperson to coordinate Executive Committee priorities, facilitates collaboration among member companies, and oversees the administration of the Association’s Code of Ethics. She represents the Association whenever required and serves as the second spokesperson of the Association in the Chairperson’s absence. She contributes to policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement, supports the execution of key initiatives, and, through active participation in the Executive Committee, strengthens governance, encourages collective decision-making, and helps advance the growth and credibility of the direct selling industry. As a member of the Executive Committee, she is committed to dedicating the time, effort, and organizational resources necessary to support the Association’s objectives.
